PURPOSE: A novel improved peach tree species, seungil white peach, is provided to obtain peaches having the improved quality in color and sugar level, retarded harvest, and retaining freshness for long time. CONSTITUTION: The novel improved peach tree species, seungil white peach, is obtained by bud-grafting of bud sport selected from hanil white peach or by bud grafting, top grafting, or cut grafting of bud sport with hanil white peach tree and propagating for at least 7 years. The second to seventh generations of the seungil white peach show constant quality in color and sugar level compared to the first generation thereof. The seungil white peaches having higher sugar level are harvested 10 days later than the conventional peaches such as hanil white peach, and their freshness is retained for 15 to 17 days while the conventional peaches' freshness is retained for 3 to 4 days.
