PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide phosphor functioning well as a scintillator, being highly processable, and being amenable to precision processing, to provide a radiation detector using the same, and to provide a medical imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The oxide phosphor is an oxide phosphor containing Ce as a luminescent element and comprising a matrix crystal mainly consisting of a garnet structure and containing at least Gd, Al, Ca, and O and containing Na in an amount of 500 wt. ppm based on the weight of the oxide phosphor.
