The invention relates to a method and a device for predicting a glycaemic profile of a subject. A multistage algorithm is employed comprising a prediction setting stage specifying a functional space for the prediction and a prediction execution stage specifying a predicted future glycaemic state of the subject in the functional space as a continuous function of time.La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de prédire le profil glycémique dun patient. Un algorithme à plusieurs étapes est utilisé comprenant une étape de paramétrage de la prédiction spécifiant un espace fonctionnel pour la prédiction et une étape dexécution de la prédiction spécifiant un état glycémique futur prédit du patient dans lespace fonctionnel en fonction continue du temps.
