Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Prozessteuerung einer Anlage zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von Schäumen umfassend die Schritte a) Bestimmen von mindestens einem Ist-Wert von mindestens einer Zustandsgröße eines in mindestens einem Aufschlagsystem hergestellten Schaums, wobei das Bestimmen des mindestens einen Ist- Wertes der mindestens einen Zustandsgröße des Schaums stromabwärts von dem mindestens einen Aufschlagsystem erfolgt, und b) der bestimmte mindestens eine Ist-Wert der mindestens einen Zustandsgröße des Schaumes mit mindestens einem vorbestimmten Sollwert dieser Zustandsgröße des hergestellten Schaumes verglichen wird und im Falle einer Abweichung des Ist-Wertes von dem mindestens einem Sollwert mindestens ein Prozessparameter der kontinuierlichen Herstellung des Schaumes automatisch verändert wird.
