PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hexagonal boron nitride powder for cosmetic having better spread and makeup lasting quality than those of conventional one and a cosmetic having markedly improved glossy feeling and feeling of transparency (bare skin feeling) of finish.SOLUTION: The hexagonal boron nitride powder is a plate-like aggregate obtained by lamination of flat-shaped primary particles having an average major axis of 2-20 &mum and thickness of 0.05-0.5 &mum. In the aggregate, the ratio of an aggregate having a specific surface area of 1-10 m2/g and passing through a sieve having an aperture of 45 &mum is &ge50 mass% and the amount of soluble boron is &le100 ppm.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来に比べて「のび」および「もち」に優れた化粧料用の六方晶窒化ホウ素粉末を、それを使用することにより、仕上がりのツヤ感や透明感(素肌感)を格段に向上させた化粧料と共に提供する。【解決手段】六方晶窒化ホウ素粉末について、平均長径が2~20μmで厚みが0.05~0.5μmの扁平形状の一次粒子が積層した板状の凝集体とし、かかる凝集体のうち、比表面積が1~10m2/gでかつ目開き45μm篩下の凝集体の割合を50質量%以上とし、さらに可溶性ホウ素量を100ppm以下とする。【選択図】図1
