The system has a guide rail (7) fastened on a pitched roof (1) along which a sliding carriage (8) is moved on a pitched roof layer. A rotationally drivable axle (6) is fastened to the sliding carriage, and retains a feeding device (2) on the guide rail at a predetermined distance depending on a position of the sliding carriage. The feeding device is connected with a cable (9) that is wound over the rotationally drivable axle, and the sliding carriage is connected with an end of another cable (10) that is wound over another rotationally drivable axle (5).
