The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsion comprising, in a physiologically acceptable support: - at least one emulsifier chosen from (sulfo)isophthalic acid polymers, -at least one hydrophilic gelling agent chosen from water-soluble or water- dispersible polymers or copolymers, containing at least two strong acid functions, which are at least partially neutralized in the form of a metal salt, -at least one lipophilic UV-screening agent, and -at least one skin-coloring agent, said emulsion having a pH ranging from 3 to 5.Cette invention concerne une émulsion à phase continue aqueuse comprenant, dans un support physiologiquement acceptable : au moins un émulsifiant sélectionné parmi les polymères de lacide (sulfo)isophtalique au moins un agent gélifiant hydrophile sélectionné parmi les polymères ou les copolymères hydrosolubles ou hydrodispersables, contenant au moins deux fonctions acide fort, qui sont au moins partiellement neutralisées sous la forme dun sel métallique au moins un agent lipophile filtrant les UV et au moins un agent auto-bronzant. Ladite émulsion a un pH compris entre 3 et 5.
