PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new applications of egg.SOLUTION: A material for Koji making use is obtained by mixing eggs and a hydrocarbon source together followed by baking the resultant mixture, which is prepared so that the specific volume is set to 2-10 cm3/g. An egg-Koji is also obtained by mixing the material and seed Koji together followed by subjecting the mixture to Koji-making operation.
