PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a climacteric disorders-improving agent and a dietary supplement which are obtained by hydrolyzing ovarian envelopes such as the envelopes of the roe of cod, herring, salmon or the like, with an enzyme, and contributes to the improvement of climacteric disorders and the maintenance of health.
SOLUTION: There is provided the climacteric disorders-improving agent characterized by containing peptides or amino acids obtained by treating the ovarian envelopes of a fish such as salmon with a protease as main ingredients. There are provided the climacteric disorders-improving agent and the dietary supplement which each further contains at least one of isoflavone and Ginseng radix or its extract. There is provided the climacteric disorders-improving agent and the dietary supplement which each contains the peptides or amino acids obtained by treating the ovarian envelopes of salmon with a protease as main ingredients, further contains at least one of collagen and hyaluronic acid, and improves the collagen-producing ability of human fibroblasts.
