An optical control system 1 is a system for irradiating a plant P1 arranged in an indoor space A1 with light. The optical control system 1 includes one or more reflective members 3. The one or more reflecting members 3 are arranged above both the lighting device 2 and the plant P1, and reflect the light from the lighting device 2 toward the plant P1 as the reflected light L2. The light control system 1 performs light control for changing at least one of the light distribution, the luminous flux, and the spectrum with respect to the reflected light L2, and irradiates the plant P1 with the light-controlled reflected light L2.
