PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for estimating the impression of two persons even one of them does not answer honestly.SOLUTION: An impression estimation device includes: a phase difference acquisition section 1 for acquiring a phase difference of waveform data for a plurality of time sections obtained by observing or measuring the foot steps of two person who step forward side by side and an impression estimation section 2 for estimating the impression of each other on the basis of the unevenness in the distribution of the phase difference lineage for the plurality of time sections and/or the degree of time change of the phase difference lineage for the plurality of time sections. The less there is time change in the phase difference between the steps of the two persons, or the more the phase difference lineage is unevenly distributed, it can be considered to have a favorable impression.
