PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gel-like composition in which granular matter, a fragrant ingredient, or a deodorizing ingredient incorporated in the inside can be maintained in a uniformly dissolved or dispersed state and further which has high transparency. SOLUTION: The gel-like composition containing at least one of the granular matter, the fragrant ingredient, and the deodorizing ingredient as well as gellan gum, xanthan gum, and water comprises 0.1 to 5 wt.% of gellant gum and 0.01 to 10 wt.% of xanthan gum.
