Secateurs have a locking slide moving on a hollow curved path at the shoulder of one handle for easy operation to lock the handles together against the expansion spring between them
The secateurs have a locking slide (7) in one handle (5) to lock the cutting edges of the cutters (1,2) together against the expansion pressure of the spring (19) between the handles. An extension (8) of the locking slide (7) has a projection (9) to grip behind the other handle (6). The locking slide (7) moves along a hollow curved path (11) at the shoulder (10) of the handle (5).
