PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of an absorber comprising a jointing part between core wrap sheets on a non-fabric part, with which an absorber having excellent shape retention property of absorbing core and in which tear of the core wrap sheet and leakage of an adhesive agent hardly occur upon production.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an absorber comprising an absorbing core 11 and core wrap sheets 15, in which upper and lower core wrap sheets are jointed via a non-fabric part 12 of the absorbing core. The method comprises: a step of forming successive absorber 10, in which adhesive agent is applied onto strip-shaped core wrap sheets 15, then the absorbing core 11 comprising non-fabric part 12 is arranged on the core wrap sheets, and a successive absorber 10 in which the absorbing core 11 is enclosed between the core wrap sheets is provided a first press step in which the successive absorber 10 is entirely pressed a second press step in which the part comprising the non-fabric part 12 in the successive absorber 10 is topically pressed and a successive material cutting step after the second press step, in which the successive absorber 10 is cut into separated individual absorbers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
