This absorbent article (10) has: an absorbent body (40) that has an absorbent core (42) and a core wrap (44) for wrapping the absorbent core (42) and a compression section (46) in which at least the absorbent body (40) is compressed in the thickness direction. The core wrap (44) has thin paper (44a) which is disposed on the skin surface side from the absorbent core (42), and a non-woven fabric (44b) disposed on the side opposite the thin paper (44a), sandwiching the absorbent core (42). The amount of a first adhesive (47) for bonding the non-woven fabric (44b) to the absorbent core (42) is greater than the amount of a second adhesive (48) for bonding the thin paper (44a) to the absorbent core (42).
