A problem to be solved is to provide an orallyingestible composition which promotes the production ofadiponectin and which is free from safety issues such asside effects and toxicity. An adiponectinproductionpromoting composition is prepared which comprises salmonmilt extract, brewer's yeast extract, avian collagen, andyeast containing mineral and having an adiponectinproduction promoting activity. Preferably,the salmonmilt extract comprises low molecular weight componentsobtained by enzymatic degradation of salmon milt intooligonucleotides and oligopeptides. Preferably,thebrewer's yeast extract comprises 50 to 80% of RNA.Preferably, the yeast containing mineral comprises, indry yeast, 2 to 3% of zinc, 0.3 to 0.5% of copper, and0.01 to 0.02% of selenium. Preferably,the adiponectinproduction promoting composition comprises 16 to 17 partsby mass of the brewer's yeast extract, 33 to 34 parts bymass of the avian collagen, and 22 to 23 parts by mass ofthe yeast containing mineral per 100 parts by mass ofthe salmon milt extract.
