PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space partitioning device that protects the privacy of a user of an individual space, keeps the illuminance in the individual space light, and gives no mental oppressive feeling to the user.SOLUTION: There is provided the space partitioning device which installs a plurality of individual spaces where each patient on a bed, reclining chair or the like can lie and a rest fixture is placed, by adjacently partitioning into right and left. An individual partitioned space in a substantially U shape in plan view which has an opening part opened to one side is formed of a basic partition body 2 stood on a floor surface and a plurality of side partition bodies 3 extended forward from right and left apart positions of the basic partition body.
