PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral preparation which can be smoothly taken without getting caught in the throat, when a coating containing a slimy material covering a solid agent absorbs water and exhibits viscosity when swallowed with water. The oral preparation of the present invention is an oral preparation having a solid preparation, a first coating layer covering the surface of the solid preparation, and a second coating layer covering the outer surface of the first coating preparation. The first coating layer contains shellac, and the second coating layer has a powdery slimy material and a binder for fixing the slimy material. The slimy material preferably contains at least one selected from xanthan gum and locust bean gum.
