PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gargle composition used after diluting with water which has a bactericidal effect and an anti-inflammatory effect, as well as a moisture effect to the throat while having an effective feeling of gargling.SOLUTION: The invention provides a concentration type gargle which is diluted with water at the time of use to be applied to the throat, the gargle comprising (A) quaternary ammonium salt type bactericide, (B) dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, (C) organic acid, and (D) water. The mass ratio (A/B) of the component (A) to the component (B) is 0.5-2, the content of the component (A) is 0.002 g/100 mL to 0.015 g/100 mL, and the content of the component (B) is 0.002 g/100 mL to 0.015 g/100 mL.
