PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin keratinization promoter useful for improving the barrier function of the skin and preventing the aging of the skin.SOLUTION: It has been found that N16 produced from shells of Akoya pearl oyster, pearl fragments or powder thereof and proteins related to the same increase expression of transglutaminase 1, sorayashin (S100A7) and loricrin gene, and especially the amount of sorayashin (S100A7) gene increases greatly. It has been found that they are very effective as a skin keratinization promoter. Sorayashin (S100A7) has the function of maintaining homeostasis of the skin such as anti-inflammation and microbial stasis, and therefore a skin preparation blended with the same is very effective.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】皮膚のバリア機能の改善、皮膚の老化防止に有用な皮膚角化促進剤を提供する。【解決手段】アコヤガイの貝殻もしくは真珠断片またはこれらの粉末が産出するN16とその関連タンパク質は、トランスグルタミナーゼ1、ソラヤシン(S100A7)、ロリクリン遺伝子の発現が増加し、特にソラヤシン(S100A7)遺伝子の発現量が非常に増加することがわかった。皮膚角化促進剤として、非常に有効なことがわかった。ソラヤシン(S100A7)は、抗炎症、静菌等皮膚の恒常性を維持する機能があり、これらを配合した皮膚外用剤は非常に有効である。【選択図】図2
