PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide countermeasures, which have been required to regain original natural skin, against decreases in horny layer barrier function, moisture retention function, sebum secretion function, etc., due to a variety of cellular functions associated with aging, such as changes in genetic predisposition and endocrine, which are represented on the surface of the skin as fine wrinkle, skin stiffness, lack of color and gloss, etc.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided (1) an external preparation composition comprising an extract of sprouts of cedar (Cryptomeria Japonica). There is also provided (2) the external preparation composition of (1) in which the extract is 0.01 to 95.0 mass%.
