PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing which can set motor speed more suitable for real fishing circumstances in easy operation.SOLUTION: A reel comprises: a motor giving power for a reel up direction to a spool speed controlling means setting the speed of the motor from 0 in multilevel an alternate action type switch driving the motor with an upper limit which is the setting speed of the speed controlling means in on, and stopping the motor in off and a momentary action type switch stopping the motor when operated in driving time of the motor, and driving the motor when operated in stopping time of the motor.
