PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type cultivation container capable of applying light homogeneously to plant leaves in hydroponic culture.SOLUTION: A cultivation container 10 comprises a floating part 11, a support member 12, a planting part 13, and blades 14. The floating part 11 has buoyancy with respect to culture solution B. The support member 12 supports at least one plant P that grows by the culture solution B. The planting part 13 is provided at the central part of the floating part 11, and fixes the support member 12. The blades 14 are attached to the floating part 11, and receives fluids (the culture solution B, air streams A1, A2) that evenly flow around the floating part to rotate the floating part 11 at a constant speed around a rotary axis which is perpendicular to a liquid face of the culture solution B.
