PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly position an auxiliary light source without damaging an actuator such as a motor or the like.SOLUTION: In an auxiliary light source drive mechanism of endoscopic equipment, a torsion coil spring 48 is arranged so as to be rotated around a motor shaft in a coaxially and interlocked state and, on the way of the rotation of a support member 44, the arm parts 48A and 48B of the torsion coil spring 48 are engaged with engaging members 49A and 49B.
