PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively promote growth of crops in a crop raising system.SOLUTION: The crop raising system 1 includes: a light source 2 for irradiating far-red light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 685-780 nm a control part 3 for controlling light irradiation action of the light source 2 and a time setting part 4 for arbitrarily setting a time zone for allowing the control part 3 to make the light source 2 perform light irradiation action. Then, the time setting part 4 is set so that the light source 2 starts the light irradiation after sun set and the control part 3 controls so that the light irradiation amount of the light source 2 is gradually increased with the lapse of time. Thus, the far-red light gradually increasing irradiance after sunset is to be irradiated on a crop P, thereby, effectively promoting the growth of the crop P.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】作物育成システムにおいて、作物の成長を効率的に促進する。【解決手段】作物育成システム1は、波長域685~780nmにピーク波長を持つ遠赤色光を照射する光源2と、光源2の光照射動作を制御する制御部3と、制御部3に対して光源2の光照射動作させる時間帯を任意に設定する時間設定部4とを備える。ここで、時間設定部4は、日没後に光源2が光照射を開始するように設定され、制御部3は、光源2の光照射量を時間経過と共に徐々に増加させていくように制御する。これにより、日没後に徐々に放射照度が増加する遠赤色光が作物Pに対して照射されることになるため、作物Pの成長を効率的に促進することができる。【選択図】図1
