PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-site vane test device mounted with an electrically driven gear which enables a rotation force to be applied from a place adjacent to and above soil under test in the ground without limit of a test depth by mounting an electrically driven gear and a torque measurement section working cooperatively each other inside a shoe to protect a vane. SOLUTION: An on-site vane test device mounted with an electrically driven gear comprises: an outer hollow tube for being inserted into the ground; a protection shoe to communicate with the outer tube; an electrically driven gear which is built into the protection shoe and moves up and down; a torque measurement section which is mounted in cooperation with the electrically driven gear at a lower portion thereof and rotates horizontally; an adapter rod with one end portion connected to the torque measurement section; and a vane rotatably connected to the other end portion of the adapter rod. The vane is configured to be projected outside the protection shoe to rotate or to be housed inside the protection shoe in accordance with a vertical movement of the electrically driven gear.
