The present invention relates to a monoanhydro-hexitol monoalkyl ether isomer composition having a C-3, C-5 or C-6 alkyl ether (OR) radical of monoanhydrohexitol, wherein the alkyl group (R) is a cyclic or non-cyclic hydrocarbon group, linear or branched, comprising between 4 to 18 carbon atoms. The invention also relates to the process for obtaining such a composition and its use as a nonionic surfactant, emulsifier, lubricant, antimicrobial agent or dispersing agent.L'invention concerne une composition d'isomères d'éthers monoalkyliques monoanhydro-hexitol présentant un radical éther alkyle (OR) en C-3, C-5 ou C-6 du monoanhydro-hexitol, dans lequel le groupe alkyle (R) est un groupe hydrocarboné cyclique ou non cyclique, linéaire ou ramifiée comprenant entre 4 à 18 atomes de carbone. L'invention concerne également le procédé d'obtention d'une telle composition ainsi que son utilisation comme agent tensioactif non ionique, émulsifiant, lubrifiant, agent antimicrobien ou agent de dispersion.
