PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive processed agaricus mushroom enabling tasting deliciousness with palate feeling close to raw food. SOLUTION: A method for producing the processed agaricus mushroom comprises pre-treating collected agaricus mushroom followed by heat-treating with steam and stopping decomposition of cellulase and chitinase as cause of spoilage so as not to lose each kind of nutrient components such as contained mineral and amino acid. Furthermore, the method comprises bagging the agaricus mushroom after heating with merchandising unit, and rapidly freezing the product together with a bag to bring to a complete frozen food.
