PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress cover material having excellent waterproof property, comfort of a care-receiver, and workability when a mattress cover material is exchanged.SOLUTION: A mattress cover material 1 for covering a mattress core material is formed by sequentially superposing, from the mattress core material side, a fiber cloth and an imperforate film, and has a stretch rate in the longitudinal direction under a constant load of 14.7 N of 30-80% and in the lateral direction of 10-40%.
