A thin elastomeric laminate 26 can be made by bonding two bilaminate precursors 24 and 25. The bilaminate precursors 24, 25 are made of a thin elastomeric film 20 that is laminated to a thin nonwoven fabric 13. The two layers of bilaminate precursors 24, 25 are then bonded so that the free film faces of both precursors face each other.
