PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate continuous air supply, water supply or suction without limiting the amount supplied and to easily carry and simplify an apparatus related to the air supply, the water supply and the suction, leading to the portability and simplification of an endoscope system.
SOLUTION: This automatic return type syringe includes: a tubular body 15 formed with a syringe port 20 at its side face a piston body 16 formed with a first ventilation passage 22 and a pushing section 18 formed with a second ventilation passage 26 being opened/closed, wherein the pushing section 18 has a push body 28 being returned by a second spring 29 and, when the push body 28 is pushed, the second ventilation passage 26 is adapted to be opened and is disposed with a first spring 17 backward moving the pushed piston body 16 to its original position. When the push body 28 is pushed, the piston body 16 is reciprocated while introducing outside air into the tubular body via the second ventilation passage 26 being opened and the first ventilation passage 22 and, when the pushing operation of the push body 28 is released, the second ventilation passage 26 is closed, and air is supplied from the syringe port 20 while reciprocating the piston body 16 by the first spring 17.
