Disclosed in the present invention is an extraoral orthodontic device which has a head gear of a new structure effectively removing deformation of the shape of the head and pressure caused by continuous wearing of the head gear put on the head for applying an extraoral orthodontic device for effective orthodontic treatment of growing children. The device in the present invention comprises a head gear including a head gear strap put on the head to support a correcting force； a connector combined with the left and right sides of the head gear respectively and connected to an intraoral orthodontic device installed inside the mouth to apply the correction force to the teeth or jawbone； and a buffer pad formed on the head gear strap to reduce the pressure applied to the head from the strap.본 발명은 성장기 아동의 효과적인 교정치료를 위한 구외 교정장치의 적용에 있어서 두부(Head)에 착용되는 헤드기어의 지속적 착용에 의해 초래될 수 있는 두부의 모양 변형이나 압박감을 효과적으로 해소할 수 있는 새로운 구조의 헤드기어를 갖는 구외 교정장치를 개시한다.본 발명은: 교정력을 지지하기 위해 머리에 씌워지는 헤드기어 스트랩을 포함하는 헤드기어와； 상기 헤드기어의 좌우측에 각각 결합되며, 구강 내에 설치된 구내 교정장치에 연결되어서 치아나 악골에 상기 교정력을 가하는 커넥터와； 상기 헤드기어 스트랩에 구비되어 상기 스트랩으로부터 상기 머리에 가해지는 압박을 감쇄시키는 완충패드；를 포함하여 구성된다.
