PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition stably containing a ceramide, having high moisturizing effect, reducing friction, and giving excellent sense of use.SOLUTION: The emulsion composition includes following components (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F): (A) a glycerol monofatty acid ester (B) a 10-24C higher alcohol (C) a ceramide (D) an anionic surfactant (E) one or more cross-linked polysiloxanes selected from a (dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, a (dimethicone/phenylvinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, and a (vinyl dimethicone/lauryl dimethicone) crosspolymer and (F) water.
