The present invention provides an oil-in-water type emulsion composition, which provides a high moisturizing effect and a high skin-smoothing effect, and has an excellent wrinkle improvement effect and an excellent elasticity improvement effect, and good thinning properties during applying, and without greasy and sticky feeling. The oil-in-water type emulsion composition is characterized by containing: (a) a hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof, (b) a (acryloyl dimethyltaurate ammonium/methacrylic acid (beheneth)-25) crosslinked polymer, (c) a hydrated oily component, (d) glycerin, and (e) ethanol.本發明係提供一種水中油型乳化組成物，其係保濕效果及使皮膚形成光滑之效果高，於皺紋之改善及彈性之改善效果優異，塗抹時之稀薄性佳，且無油膩感及沾黏感。本發明之水中油型乳化組成物，其特徵在於包含：(a)透明質酸或其鹽、(b)(丙烯醯基二甲基胺基乙磺酸銨/甲基丙烯酸山萮醇聚醚(beheneth)-25)交聯聚合物、(c)含水性油分、(d)甘油、(e)乙醇。
