An apparatus for intradermal and subcutaneous injection of a filler material comprises a pistol-shaped frame (2) with a handle portion (3) and a housing portion (4) defining a longitudinal axis (L) and designed to house a syringe (S) so that the needle (N) is substantially parallel to said axis (L), electromechanical actuator means (5) susceptible of interacting with the plunger (P) to promote an axial translational motion (t) thereof and facilitate controlled ejection of the filling material.
