The invention relates to amateur fishing. The artificial bait for amateur fishing comprises a body with a center of gravity in the front part with at least one opening for attaching a fishing line, said opening being formed in the upper part of the housing above the center of gravity of the lure or offset towards the nose part of the housing, and with at least one opening for attaching at least one hook. The bait comprises a plate having lateral parts which are curved convexly symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of said plate. The plate is attached with the aid of an immovable holder to the nose or lower part of the housing with a fixed arrangement of the longitudinal axis of said plate at an angle and with the possibility of rotation of the plate about the axis.
