PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating and irradiating apparatus which performs irradiation with a charged particle beam with a light weight and high positional precision and which is used for particle beam therapy.SOLUTION: The rotating and irradiating apparatus is provided with: a rotating gantry 1 to which a charged particle beam irradiation apparatus 8 and beam transportation apparatuses 9 and 10 guiding the charged particle beam to the irradiation apparatus 8 are fitted and a rotary body supporting apparatus 16 having a rotatable roller 12 supporting the rotating gantry 1 contacting with an annular member included in the rotating gantry 1.
