PURPOSE: Current application method and apparatus for the pest control are provided to use the magnetic field of the applied current for completely preventing the damages from harmful insects. CONSTITUTION: A current application apparatus for the pest control comprises the following: plural electrode rods installed on the outer circumference of a tree(100) for forming positive electrode units; and negative electrode units formed on the lower side of the positive electrode unit using the electrode rods. The high current flows in between the positive and negative electrode units along to the growth ring of the tree for preventing harmful insects parasitic on the tree using the moisture inside the tree receiving the magnetic field formed by the current. The positive and negative electrode units are formed successively by turns. The interval between the positive and negative electrode units is 90-110cm.
