PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thumb confrontation brace that can easily be worn by a user oneself, and inhibits the spasm of a users thumb by appropriate strength in the wearing state, and thereby can easily catch an article by using hands even in the wearing state to improve the symptom.SOLUTION: A thumb confrontation brace includes: an elastic base fabric 2 formed of a thumb insertion part 5 at one end side 2A and a palm root winding part 6 in the other end side 2B and a thumb belt 7 comprising an elastic band for maintaining a thumb 10 in an anti-standing position with the other finger 12 by being mounted to the base fabric 2 of the instep side of the thumb 10 and being mounted to the base fabric 2 of the instep side again while being wound around the thumb 10 and being pulled in the state where the thumb 10 is inserted into the thumb insertion part 5 of this base fabric 2 and the palm root winding part 6 is wound around a wrist 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】使用者自身が容易に装着でき、装着状態で使用者の母指の痙縮を適宜の強さで阻止することにより、装着状態においても手を使って物を容易につかむことができ、症状の改善を図ることができる母指対立装具を提供する。【解決手段】一端側2Aに母指挿入部5、他端側2Bに掌根巻付け部6を形成してなる伸縮性の基布2と、この基布2の母指挿入部5に母指10を挿入し且つ掌根巻付け部6を手首11に巻付けた状態において、母指10の甲側の基布2に取付けられ、母指10に巻付けて引っ張りながら再び甲側の基布2に取付けられることにより母指10を他の指12と対立位に保持させる伸縮性の帯状体からなる母指ベルト7とを備えてなる。【選択図】図7
