PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trim loss by effectively utilizing the trim.
SOLUTION: In manufacturing a pull-up disposable diaper including an external sheet 12 having leg insertion parts and a first absorber 56 disposed in another portion than the leg insertion parts, a portion LB in the external sheet 12 to make the leg insertion part is formed by bonding an outer nonwoven fabric layer 12S and an inner nonwoven fabric layer 12H to each other, and after that, the portion LB in the external sheet 12 to make the leg insertion part is cut off from the other main portion. The cut-off portion LB is obtained as a wiping sheet. The method of manufacturing the absorbent article characterized by the above process is provided.
