PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop liquid whitener for promoting flavor of beverage.SOLUTION: There is provided liquid whitener in which the content of oil and fat is 5-50 mass% and the content of a capric acid in the whole amount of fatty acids constituting the oil and fat is at least 50 mass%. The liquid whitener in which the content of a capric acid based on the whole amount of the liquid whitener is at least 6 mass% is also provided. Beverage which includes the liquid whitener is also provided.
