PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions, medicines and foods that activate microglia, particularly, prevent, treat, and improve the symptom of dementia.SOLUTION: As a result of screening compounds which accelerate phagocytosis removal activity of microglia, it is found that fatty amide, especially, oleamide and palmitamide enhance the activity.
