PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple evaluation method that can find insecticidal active ingredients suitable for a termite extermination method.SOLUTION: An evaluation method is characterized as follows: 20 glass beads of 0.4-0.6 mm in diameter with egg extract of reticulitermes and insecticidal active ingredients applied thereon and 5 eggs of the reticulitermes are arranged at random in a dish with filter paper of 5 cm in diameter the glass beads and eggs of the reticulitermes come together after 24 hours of release when 10 healthy reticulitermes worker ants are released in this dish, and the egg mass is formed, and further, the mortality of the reticulitermes worker ants in two weeks later after the release is 80% or more and the mortality of the reticulitermes worker ants becomes 100% in two weeks later after the release, when released in the dish with the filter paper of 5 cm in diameter after administering a methanol solution of 1 &muL containing the insecticidal active ingredients of 0.2 &mug to trophi portions of healthy reticulitermes worker ants.
