PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood sugar metabolism improver that improves or enhances a sugar metabolism function in a skeletal muscle, and to provide an oral composition including the same.SOLUTION: Water soluble anthocyanidin which is an aqueous extract obtained from persimmon leaf water, and ethyl alcohol or water-ethyl alcohol mixed solution exhibits an excellent effect of improving or enhancing a sugar metabolism function in a skeletal muscle.
