To provide a rice planting method capable of shortening a period of rice planting and reducing a load applied to an operator, and being excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: A rice planting method comprises: a germination step of seeding seed rice 1 to a seedling box for germination； and a putting planting step of putting the seed rice 1 which is germinated in the germination step and a length L3 of a seedling 4 thereof has grown to 2-6 cm, to a rice field for planting. Therefore, by only the germination step of almost 3-4 days, putting planting to a rice field can be performed, a rice planting period can be significantly shortened. If a work since seeding of a nursery plant to rice planting which requires almost 1 week is performed since the beginning of May to the end of June, rice planting which can be performed only once for a year conventionally can be performed 8 times for a year. Therefore, a large scale agriculture in which a scale of a farm land is enlarged is also achieved, and a problem of abandonment of a farm land in intermediate mountainous areas can be also solved. In addition, production cost is reduced, so that rice selling price can be lowered and rice production in Japan can be restored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】田植えの期間を短縮して作業者の負担を軽減することができる生産性に優れた田植方法を提供する。【解決手段】苗箱に籾種１を播いて発芽させる発芽工程と、発芽工程で発芽して芽４の長さＬ３が２～６ｃｍに伸びた状態の籾種１を田に投げ込んで植え付ける投げ込み植え工程と、を具備する。これにより、約３～４日間の発芽工程のみで田への投げ込み植えを行うことができ、田植え期間を大幅に短縮することができる。苗種播きから田植えまでの１週間程度の作業を５月初めから６月末まで行うこととすれば、従来は１年に１回しかできなかった田植えを、１年に８回行うことができるようになる。よって、農地規模を拡大した大型農業も可能となり、中山間地における農地放棄の問題も解決される。そして、生産コスト低減により、米の販売価格を下げ、日本の米作りを立て直すことができる。【選択図】図３
