The device has a check valve (5) arranged in a liquid feed line (4) that is guided from a liquid tank (3) in a direction of a spray nozzle (2). The check valve is designed such that no liquid flows back into the liquid tank. A mixer unit (10) is arranged in the liquid feed line after a conveying position (11) of an active agent unit. A return line (15) comes from the supply nozzle, and is discharged between the check valve and the mixer unit.
