PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which can make operation force required for a bending operation smooth in its amount without a substantial change of a design or the like.SOLUTION: A pulley 32 and a pulley cover 33 are constituted of a non-magnetic substance. A first magnetic substance 51 which rotates integrally with the pulley 32 in a prescribed rotating radius is fixed to the pulley 32, and a second magnetic substance 56 is fixed to the pulley cover 33 so that a relative position to the first magnetic substance 51 is changed in accordance with a rotational state of the pulley 32.
