PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat capable of carrying out the operation of a newly installed mechanism smoothly while achieving simplification of a moving structure of a hood part by solving the drifting or the like of the hood part by devising the construction of the hood part.SOLUTION: The cylindrical reel seat is constituted as follows. The hood part is constituted of a leg-pushing body 13 for pushing and holding a reel leg 5A, and a covering body 12 for covering the pushing body 13. The covering body 12 is attached and fixed to the seat body 10. The leg-pushing body 13 is constituted so as to be movable between a reel leg-pushing position and a position remote from the reel leg.
