A device and method for ligating diseased tissue. The device includes a flexible, substantially tubular sleeve adapted to be positioned around tissue to be ligated and having first and second ends, and at least one anchoring member coupled to the tubular sleeve having an anchoring element positioned substantially adjacent to the first end. The anchoring member has at least one projecting element extending therefrom and adapted to engage healthy tissue when the ligation device is positioned around the tissue to be ligated. The device further includes an elastic element positioned around the periphery of the sleeve and adapted to apply a constrictive force around the periphery of the sleeve.La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de ligature dun tissu malade. Ce dispositif comporte, dune part un manchon souple sensiblement tubulaire, qui est conçu pour se placer autour du tissu à ligaturer, et qui définit une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité, et dautre part au moins un élément dancrage, qui est couplé au manchon tubulaire, et qui comporte une structure dancrage disposée sensiblement contre la première extrémité. Au moins une partie saillante sétend à partir de lélément dancrage, cette partie saillante étant conçue pour être mise en contact avec le tissu sain quand le dispositif de ligature est placé autour du tissu à ligaturer. Le dispositif comprend également un élément élastique, qui est disposé autour du pourtour du manchon, et qui est conçu pour exercer une force de constriction sur le pourtour du manchon.
