PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the data of a radiation image or the like on a portable radiation image forming apparatus without bringing about the lowering handleability or portability.SOLUTION: A display part 120, which is provided with a flat plate-like display surface capable of displaying an image or the like and supported on a housing 70 so as to be made slidably movable with respect to the housing 70, is provided to an electronic cassette. The display part 120 is slid and moved in the direction drawn out of the housing 70 to develop the display surface to the outside of the housing 70 and slid and moved in the direction of being inserted into the housing 70 to be housed in the housing 70.
